In April of 2006 HomeStreet Bank launched the “mybankdoesntgetit.com” web site to collect stories of people who felt their bank didn’t understand their needs. The site was un-branded when it first launched and later contained a link to the HomeStreet Bank web site. In its active phase more than 150 stories were submitted by visitors and more than 7000 people visited the site.
